Warm-Weather Handling Policy for Heat-Sensitive Products

To help maintain the quality and presentation of heat-sensitive products, Jocelyn & Co. applies a Warm-Weather Handling fee when applicable items are included in an order.

Why this is necessary

Certain products, including chocolate and select candies, are sensitive to heat and may be affected by warmer temperatures during transit. During warm-weather months, additional protective measures are required to help reduce the risk of melting, sticking, or other heat-related changes.

When the fee applies

• The warm-weather handling fee applies to orders containing heat-sensitive products during warmer months, typically May through October, or whenever shipping conditions warrant.
  

What the fee covers

• Heat-mitigating packaging materials including an insulated box and ice packs.

Important notes

• While these measures help reduce heat exposure, we cannot guarantee that heat-sensitive products will arrive unaffected during periods of extreme heat or carrier delays.

• Jocelyn & Co. is not responsible for changes that may occur once an order is in transit or delivered, including exposure to high temperatures after delivery.

• Warm-weather handling fees are non-refundable.

Heat-sensitive products are available year-round. By completing a purchase that includes these items during warm-weather months, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with shipping in elevated temperatures.
